This Italian varietal is a very easy to drink wine with an earthy backbone and hints of blackberries, and cedar.  A medium-bodied wine with light tannins and slight oakiness.  The flavors exhibit Bing cherries and cassis.  The finish is  long and attractive of  juicy red berries. 

Pair with pasta with a tomato based sauce or grilled burgers. Drink within the next 4-5 years.

                        6% Merlot, Westerly Vineyard
                        5% Petite Verdot, Delano Farms
Cooperage:    Filtered and Aged 10 Months in French Oak
